Privacy policy
Powertora measures your car, not you. No accounts, no ads, no tracking — the app collects exactly what a GPS dyno needs to compute a power curve, and nothing else. Last updated October 7, 2026.
What Powertora collects
GPS traces. When you record a run, the raw GPS stream from your external GPS sensor (RaceBox, Dragy or similar — position, speed, altitude at 25 Hz) is uploaded to our server to compute your power curve. A trace covers the road stretch you measured on; we cannot and do not track you outside of runs you explicitly record and upload.
Run metadata. The car profile you entered for the run (name, weight, gearing reference points) and your phone model/OS version, used to compute the result and diagnose sensor issues.
Installation ID. A random identifier generated on first launch, shown in the app as your "Support ID". It is not linked to your name, email, or any account — Powertora has no accounts.
Purchase state. If you buy Powertora Pro, the store you bought it from (Google Play or the Apple App Store) sends us a purchase token which we verify with that store and keep together with your installation ID to know Pro is active. Payment details (card numbers, etc.) are handled entirely by Google Play / Apple and never reach us.
Weather. The approximate location and time of a run is used to look up public weather data (wind, temperature, pressure) for the correction of your result.
What Powertora does not collect
No accounts, names, email addresses, or contact lists.
No background location — GPS data comes from your external sensor only while you record a run.
No advertising identifiers, no ads, no analytics SDKs, no tracking across apps.
Your run history is stored locally on your phone, not on our servers; server-side results are addressed only by unguessable random IDs.
How data is used and shared
Uploaded runs are used solely to compute and render your dyno results (curves, reports, share cards). If you share a report link, anyone with that link can view that result — links contain unguessable IDs and are never listed publicly.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties. The only external services involved are Google Play and the Apple App Store (purchases) and a public weather service (approximate run location and time). The social media integrations below do not touch app data.
Social media integrations (TikTok, Meta, Google, Threads, X)
Separately from the app, limitium.art runs promoops, a local publishing and statistics tool that posts Powertora's own promotional videos to the social accounts connected to it (TikTok through TikTok Login Kit, Content Posting API and Display API; Instagram, Facebook and Threads through Meta's APIs; YouTube through Google's API; X). App users' data is never sent to these platforms.
What is read from a connected TikTok account: the basic profile (open ID, display name, avatar), the follower, following, like and video counts, and the list of the account's public videos with their view, like, comment and share counts. These are used only to show which account a post goes to and how the videos perform.
YouTube: promoops uses YouTube API Services to upload the operator's own videos to the operator's own YouTube channel and to read that channel's statistics (channel and video view, like, comment and subscriber counts, YouTube Analytics). It reads no other users' data. By using a connected YouTube channel you are bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms); Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). YouTube API data is stored only in promoops's local database, is refreshed at least every 30 days, and is deleted when the channel is disconnected. You can revoke promoops's access at any time on the Google security settings page (https://myaccount.google.com/connections).
What is posted: only the videos and captions the account holder chooses in promoops, each with the privacy level, interaction settings (comments, Duet, Stitch) and commercial content disclosure picked for that post. Nothing is posted automatically without those choices, and nothing is changed or deleted on the account.
Where it is kept: the access tokens and the statistics are stored in promoops's own database on the operator's computer. They are not sold, shared or used for advertising, and are kept only while the account stays connected.
Deletion: disconnect promoops at any time in the TikTok app (Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Apps and services) or the corresponding Meta/Google settings; email us and the stored tokens and statistics for that account are deleted.
Retention and deletion
Uploaded run data and computed results are retained so your saved reports and share links keep working.
To have your uploads or purchase records deleted, email us your Support ID (shown in the app under Guide and on the Pro screen) and we will remove the associated data.
